I am so glad I took on this personal project this year. Though there are days when I feel completely lacking in creativity and throwing in the towel, there are so many more days where I am grateful for the moments it has enabled me to capture in our daughter's first year and the strides that I've made in my career. Here's a selection of my favorites from the past three months, we are settling into Fall and I am officially in the home stretch! :)
I seriously cannot believe it is already July. When did that happen?! As I wrap up the second season of my personal Project 365, I'd like to share some of my favorites from the past few months. Get ready for a major overshare, I had a seriously hard time narrowing down my favorites! It has been amazing to watch our little Lila grow and develop into a sassy little baby! I have fallen in love with this project for so many reasons, both personal and professional. I love taking the time to document my own family and building memories for our future while picking up my camera everyday to learn something new everyday! this year i challenged myself to take a photo of our personal life every single day. from a professional standpoint, i thought it would help me strengthen my photography skills by ensuring i absolutely always had my camera within arm's reach. from a personal standpoint, i thought it was a great opportunity to document our daughter's first year (somewhat obsessively)! so that's what this project has essentially turned into, a glimpse into our lives as new parents to a very feisty and lovable little girl! these are some of my favorites from the first three months, to follow my project 365 on a daily basis check me out on Facebook!
