I have photographed this gorgeous family so many times over the years, but it never gets old. It has been so fun watching these kiddos grow up in front of my lens, and they really are as beautiful and fun as you they seem. Tonya is also a local family photographer who happens to be one of the attendees at our first He(art) of Home retreat of 2019 in Brooklyn, NY next month! What’s that you ask?! (Shameless plug) Head on over to take a look!

This family was. a. dream. Simply beautiful in every way.
I loved capturing this foursome. Their energy was so great and they were just about to move to a new part of town, so this was a last opportunity to capture some moments in their old home.
The last time I photographed this family, they were on their way out of their states for an assignment in Jordan. It was such a pleasure to welcome them back home by capturing these moments for them.
I am so so SO behind on blogging after the holiday season, so here I am getting caught up in no particular order. In the coming year I'll be moving to shooting only in-home sessions. While I've loved photographing families outdoors too, capturing life in it's honest form, at home, is where my heart lies. This summer, I'll also be teaming up with my dear friend Clare Barker Wells Photography to bring the first ever workshop focused purely around the art + business of in-home lifestyle photography to the UK! It promises to be an amazing 4 day retreat, if you are a photographer interested in growing this side of your business, we still have a couple of seats left! You can find all the details at www.heartofhomeworkshop.com.
After that shameless plug, here is the beautiful H family in their home. I shot this family for a Nikon assignment which was intended to be a motherhood session only, but I couldn't resist getting Dad in for some family shots too.
